The story "A Horse and Two Goats" was written by the author R. K. Narayan (1906-2001) and was published in 1965. It tells about two mens, an Indian native and an American tourist, who visits India. But neither of them speaks or understands the language of the other and so the whole story is based on a lot of misunderstandings: the American tourist is interested in buying the statue, but the Indian native thinks he would like to buy his two goats etc. In the end the native goes away with the money from the American. But actually the Indian believes that he has sold his two goats and the American thinks, that the native is getting some help for putting the statue into his car.
